The Independence little cigars from Arnold André are more than just the promise to enjoy life to the fullest and without restrictions. With the Independence little cigars in a ring of 40, you can easily take a little break in the midst of everyday hustle and bustle. The Sumatra blend of classic Independence little cigars ensures a mild taste and a gentle strength. The cigars also skillfully present themselves visually. The gray metal tubo is not just practical and protects the cigarillo inside from breaking, it also just looks cool and casual.

The renowned cigar manufacturer Arnold André launched the Independence little cigars in 1998. Since then, they have been a complete success, which once again demonstrated André’s flair to interpret the signs of the times in good time.

And these were extremely good because after the cigar boom of the 1990s in the USA began to weaken, cigar smoking experienced a renaissance in Europe.

Many manufacturers launched new cigar brands to meet customers’ requests for high-quality tobacco. Special clubs were founded with the goal that cigar lovers could meet here and indulge in smoking.

Together with their big sisters, the cigars, cigarillos brought more variety into the formats offered and enriched the range of flavors with new flavors. When the Independence cigar was introduced, the Arnold André company was able to look back on almost 150 years of history in cigar and cigarillo production.

It all started as a branch of a cigar factory in Osnabrück. In Bünde, the center of the European cigar industry in the 19th century, the Arnold André company quickly established itself as a regional force. National success came in the mid-1950s when the company started making Independence little cigars by machine. The “Handelsgold” brand was very popular in times of the economic miracle and also the first cigar to be sold all over the country. Arnold André repeatedly reacted to changing customer behavior.

In the 1970s and 1980s, the company opened up new classes of buyers with high-quality tobacco varieties for discerning smokers. The Brazil and Sumatra tobaccos were further processed in Königslutter, where a second production site had meanwhile been opened. New brands such as Clubmaster, Bachschmidt and Garves let the Arnold André company grow steadily. Best sellers such as the Independence little cigars have meanwhile developed from a regional cigar manufacturer into a global player in the cigar industry.
